A rapidly growing young company providing highly reliable cost effective back-office legal support services to law firms has an opening for a Client Relations Specialist in the New York City area.

Responsibilities
The Client Relations Specialist is the primary contact for our clients. This person is polished, driven, establishes credibility quickly, and becomes a trusted advisor.
Specific responsibilities include driving the client on-boarding process, ensuring client satisfaction, facilitating process improvement initiatives to help our existing clients achieve their goals, and uncovering growth opportunities within the client base. This involves working with clients to define and document technology and process protocols, working with our remote delivery team on implementation, and to secure the clients’ integration of our services into their daily routines. The candidate must be an excellent communicator with the ability to remotely collaborate with delivery personnel operating in different time zones and drive objectives in ambiguous situations.
Requirements

Client on-boarding
• Detail oriented: emphasis on defining and documenting internal and external processes

• Strong project management skills balancing multiple work threads
• Willingness to facilitate projects during late evening or early morning hours to accommodate different time zones
• Ability to garner support and commitment for projects from internal and external resources
• Ability to quickly learn and understand usage of new technology: ability to troubleshooting technology process issues and light tech set up
Ongoing Account Management
• Client Advocate: Understand clients’ business environment and maintain active engagement to advance their operational excellence objectives
• Familiarity with change management concepts, ability to influence without authority
Account Development
• Develop and drive account development strategies and growth plans
• Identify and document opportunities for process improvement and to solve problems
• Secure client commitment and implement new business processes
Other
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Travel throughout NYC area
• Should have no restrictions on short term overseas assignments
• Consulting and/or Legal/Paralegal experience a plus but not required
• Bachelor’s degree required - recent graduates encouraged to apply
